Ixworth, Suffolk
  Location
Ixworth is an ancient parish located in the north west of the County of 
Suffolk.
Ixworth was a market town and is approximately seven miles north east of 
Bury Saint Edmunds. The county town of 
Ipswich is twenty-seven miles to the south east, with the market town of 
Stowmarket eleven miles along the road to 
Ipswich. 
Thetford which straddles the 
Norfolk / 
Suffolk border is ten miles to the north north west. The market town and port of 
Lowestoft which sits on the North Sea coast of 
Suffolk is about forty eight miles to the east.

The Parish (CofE) Church is St Mary the Virgin, Ixworth which can be found 
here on Google Maps but is not visible on Google Street View.

To the east of Ixworth is a detached portion of the Parish of 
Bardwell with 
Stowlangtoft to the south east and 
Pakenham to the south west. 
Great Livermere and 
Troston St Mary are to the west. To the north west is the parish of 
Ixworth Thorpe and to the north is the main portion of the parish of 
Bardwell.
