Location

The Parish of St Thomas at Cliffe is one of several parishes now forming the town of Lewes. It also appears as St Thomas under the Cliff(e) in some census returns.

It is the only Lewes parish to sit on the eastern side of the River Ouse.

The Parish (CofE) Church is St Thomas at Cliffe, Lewes (also known as St Thomas à Becket) which can be seen here on Google Street View.

Adjacent (Pre 1832) Parishes

To the north, east and south St Thomas at Cliffe is surrounded by South Malling. The River Ouse forms the western boundary, with the Lewes parishes of St John the Baptist, Southover and All Saints on the opposite bank of the river.
