Miss Katie Reaves, daughter of Major James G. Reaves, was on last Wednesday evening wedded to Mr. W. J. Bolton of Bristol. The marriage took place at the residence of the bride's parents, one mile south Greeneville.

Maj. James G. Reaves of Greeneville, died at 1 o'clock yesterday morning, aged about 85 years. He was a prominent citizen of the county and before the civil war he served as sheriff and had held other responsible positions in the county. He was the father of Humphrey Reeves, of Greeneville.
