Narrative

Richard Reaves appeared in Duplin County, NC as a head of household in the 1820 census. The household contains two males, one 16 to 18 and the other 16 t0 25. The other male in the household is presumably Hardy Reaves. Both appear again on the Duplin 1830 census listed next to each other. By 1840 Hardy is still listed in Duplin County but Richard appears in the Indian Springs District of Wayne County. By 1850 Richard is no longer listed on the Wayne County census and there are currently no further records of him.
