Children of Roger Reaves/Reeves and Phebe Progdon:
  1. Nathan Reeves, b. 6 Dec 1766
  2. Stephen Reeves, b. 15 Nov 1769

In 1767, Roger sold the land known as Reeves Neck to John Scholfield for twenty pounds Pennsylvania currency. This land had been bought by his father William Reaves in 1725.

The following is from Baltimore County Orphans Court records from 14 Aug 1781:
Nathan Reeves Aged 15 years the 6th December next, Stephen Reeves Aged 12 years the 15th of Novr next orphans of Roger and Phebe Reeves Deceased is by the Court Bound to Abraham Griffeth to serve him untill they shall arive to the age of 21 years the said master to learn said apprentices the trade of a tanner & currier also to read & write & cipher as far as the Rule of three and give them the customary freedom dues.
