On the 1880 Census, William S Reave (sic) appears in the household of his father Columbus and mother Callie along with his sister Clara L. Clara is shown as being 7 years old and William is 4 years old and both were born in Arkansas. (Dwelling 68/Family 70). See Research Note 1 below.

William S REAVES and Hattie JOHNSON were married in Colbert County, Alabama on 20 December 1893.

(2) On the 1920 census return there is a single entry for a son, "Earl.Pearl Reeves" age 3 months (row 67). Both children are clearly shown on the 1930 census.
