Macedon, Nov. 18—The death of Abraham G. Reeve, a resident of this town for nearly fifty years, took place at his home west of this village Saturday morning at 4:15. Mr. Reeve was born April 3, 1830, in Maidstone, Kent Co., England. He came to this country in 1850 and married Miss Sarah Tompkins May 5, 1855. In 1872 he came to this town where he has made his home. Mrs. Reeve passed away about eleven years ago. Of the immediate family who are left, are five children, two sons, Frank and Fred Reeve of this town, three daughters, Mrs. Mary Erhardt, Mrs. Georgia Allis and Miss Ella Reeve. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon from his late home and Rev. R. J. Payne officiated. Burial took place in the North Farmington cemetery.
The obituary implies he died 16 Nov. The Family Bible transcription says 10 Nov. And the death index states 9 Nov.
