According to Mattituck Presbyterian Church Records, Barnabas, son of Thomas & Kezia Reeve, was baptized 25 Jul 1754.

Barnabas was listed in the 1776 census in Brookhaven, Suffolk County.

He was living in New York City in 1790, where his household was listed with two males age 16 and up, two under 16, and 1 female.

Barnabas Reeve of New York wrote his will on 7 Oct 1795 and it was proved 10 Nov 1795. He mentioned his wife Hannah, "children Thomas Reevs, Harra Reevs and yougest hanna Reves", and his brother Daniel.
