BUD REEVE OF BUXTON DIES
Buxton, N. D., Apr. 5 (AP) - Budd Reeve, "sage of Buxton," died today at his home here. He was 91 years old.
He became ill with a cold three weeks ago and his health failed rapidly.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
Mr. Reeve was a picturesque figure in eastern North Dakota, for many years following his arrival in the state more than half a century ago.
In 1898 he was a democratic candidate for congress and during his campaign constructed a log cabin on wheels in which he toured much of the state. He wrote many articles on a wide variety of subjects and was a prosperous farmer.
For many years Mr. Reeve was an invalid and although confined to his home for the last several years, he kept closely in touch with the outside world.
Mrs. Reeve died in 1927 at the age of 92 years. Survivors are two sons, Dr. Edward T. Reeve of Elbow Lake. Minn., and Budd Reeve Jr. of Buxton, with whom Mr. Reeve lived.
