Franklin appears to have moved around a bit. Early in 1830, he was living in Marlboro when he married Mary Moore. Later that year when the census was taken, he was in Newburgh, about eight miles south of Marlboro. It would appear he is the same Franklin who appeared in 1840 in Minisink, some further distance away. He is listed two doors down from Isaac Reeve. There is no known connection between Isaac and any Franklin Reeve.
