Essex County Chronicle, 4 Aug 1916
Information has been received of the death of Co.-Sgt.-Major Frederick Reeve, Northamptons, from wounds received in action. Death took place at the General Hospital, Etaples, France, on the 4th July. He was only married last December. He was the fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Reeve, Weavers Farm, Felsted, and aged 26 years. He was severely wounded in December, 1914, but recovered and rejoined his regiment. He only returned to France from leave a few weeks ago.
