In 1861, she was living with her sister Sophia Bright and a Sarah Veall. It states she was born in Bocking, Essex.

Hephzibah Cooper, of Carlton Cottages, Loughborough Road, Brixton, was buried 25 Feb 1862, age 76, in the Norwood Cemetery, Lambeth.
