Hezekiah was listed in the 1776 census in Southold with one male under 16, one female over 16, and one under.

Hezekiah wrote his will on 22 Apr 1809 and it was proved 16 Jan 1816. He mentions his wife Mary and children Nathan, Ezra, Jerusha, Cata, and Hannah. Given the date of probate, this matches the headstone for Hezekiah who died 24 Nov 1814, age 62.

His will states he was of Riverhead. He is found there on the 1810 census. Earlier in 1800 he is listed in Riverhead as well next to a Hezekiah Reeve Jr. This may have been a son Hezekiah, but there is none mentioned in his will.

He is not found on the 1790 census.

His wife died 10 Jan 1816. They are both buried at Aquebogue.

Research Notes

He may have had a son Hezekiah Jr. not mentioned in the will. See Findagrave.
