Death of Ira Reeve
Special to the News.
Elmer, May 11.
Ira Reeve, one of the most respected citizens of this place, died suddenly at his home on the outskirts of Elmer, Thursday afternoon. He had been lying down taking a nap, and was seized with a fit of coughing, when he arose and died in a few minutes. Dr. Campbell was called, but life was extinct when he arrived.
Mr. Reeve had been ailing for some time, but was apparently as well as usual up to the time of his sudden death. Elmer loses one of its best citizens by his death, as he was a genial man with all he met.
