Isaac's gravestone reads: "HERE is interred/what was Mortal/of Capn Isaac Reeve/who departed this/life Augt ye 20/Anno Dom 1785/in the 40th Year of/his Age." His wife Catherine is buried in the same cemetery. There is a headstone for a son of theirs named Daniel in the First Presbyterian Churchyard in Springfield which reads: "In/Memory of/Daniel Reeve/Son of Isaac &/Catherine Reeve/who died Feb. 16 1823/in the 41s....f his/..."

Isaac wrote his will in 1780. It was proved on 10th Oct 1785. He mentions his wife Catherine, and children Elias, Isaac, Eliabeth, and Nancy. He appointed "my Honourd Father William Reeve" and a friend as executors. This might be William Reeve.
