LITTLE CHESTERFORD
DEATH AFTER A HEARTY SUPPER. - John Reeve, labourer, aged 76, who had been some time on the doctor's hands, ate a hearty supper and went to bed in his usual state of health on Thursday evening. His wife found that he was dead at three o'clock on Friday morning.

Research Notes

Since Martha, daughter of Joseph Reeve was stated to be his sister on the census, and his father's name given as Joseph in the marriage record, John must be a son of Joseph Reeve as well. However, no baptism for him has been found.

Note that the obituary indicates he died on Thursday (2nd) or Friday (3rd). However the burial entry states he was buried the 2nd.
