A request for a grave marker is dated 18 Aug 1779 for John Reeve "late of Stockton who died in the parish of St. Olives so calld in the County of Surry a member of the Stockton Monthly-Meeting, aged about 54 years who died the 14th Day of the 8th Month, called August One thousand seven hundred and seventy nine of a fever." He was to be buried in the Friends burying ground at Wandsworth in Surry.
