In 1861, John was in the township of Toronto in Peel County in Canada West, a farmer age 36. With him are Hannah (25), Sigsworth (5), and Mary (2).
The 1871 Canada Census states that John T. Reeve was a farmer aged 52, born in England, a Wesleyan Methodist. With him were wife Hannah L. (38) and Sigsworth (14), Mary L. (11), Thomas H. (9), John T. (7), Sophia E. (5), Frederick (3), and William B. (1).
In 1881, son Sigsworth was head of household with his mother Hannah (46), and siblings Louisa (21), Thomas (19), John (17), Sophia (15), William (11), and Gertrude (4) living with him.
