On the 23th inst., of dropsy on the brain, Harriet L. only daughter of Jonas C. Reeve, aged 2 years and 3 mos.
Funeral this (Monday) afternoon, at 2 o'clock, from No. 14 South Essex st.

He was living with his son Thomas in 1905.

Famous Church Builder Dead.
Newark, Aug. 23. - Jonas C. Reeve, who erected the Halsey Street M. E., the Hill Street M. E., South Park Presbyterian and St. Paul's M. E. Churches, died at his home, 179 Chadwick avenue, Tuesday afternoon. He was ninety-one years old, and death was due to a stroke of apoplexy, with which he was stricken Sunday night.
