Joseph's will was made 8 Aug 1767 and proved 26 Sep 1767. This matches Joseph Reeve who was buried at St. Andrews Cemetery, Mt. Holly, New Jersey on 3 Sep 1767, age 47. The headstone reads "Here Lieth the Body of Joseph Reeves who departed this life 3rd Day of September 1767 Aged 47." His will states he was the son of William Reeve and names his sons. It seems apparent that his son Joseph is the one buried next to him in the St. Andrews Cemetery.

The widow Jane appeared to still be settling the account on his estate in 1772 per a memorandum.

The book The Reeves Family identifies him as a son of William Reeve Jr.. More research is needed on William's family to verify this.

Research Notes

Son John appears to be John Reeves who is also buried in St. Andrews graveyard.
