Children of Peter Reeve and Sarah Elstob:
  1. Peter Reeve, b. 8 Sep 1686
  2. Joshua Reeve, b. 22 Sep 1688
  3. John Reeve, b. 3 Aug 1691

The quaker marriage record of John Reeve in 1714 from Whitby, Yorkshire, states that his father was Peter Reeve late of Stockton. A Joshua Reeve witnessed the marriage. There is a quaker marriage record for a Joshua from nearby Malton in 1718 which states that his parents were Peter and Sarah Reeve late of the city of London.

A marriage record for Peter Reeve and Sarah Elstob from Stockton in 1683 appears to be the parents of both of these individuals:
  • Peter Reeve of Stockton and Sarah Elstob of Greatham were married at Stockton the 13th day of the 10th month call'd Decr

It appears Peter was married twice. An earlier record exists which implies he moved from Scarbrough, Yorkshire to Stockton:
  • Peter Reeve late of Scarbrough in Yorkshire and Margaret Herron of Stockton in the County of Durham were joined in marriage the twenty second day of the tenth month called December 1678

The births of the children of Peter and Sarah, recorded in Stockton Quaker records:
  • Peter son of Peter and Sarah Reeve of Stockton was born the 8th Day of the 7th month called September (1686 entry)
  • Joshua Son of Peter and Sarah Reeve of Stockton was born the 22d Day of the 7th month called September (1688 entry)
  • John the Son of Peter & Sarah Reeve of Stockton was born the 3d day of the 6th Month called August (1691 entry)

There is a possible third marriage of Peter's from 1700 in London. This would fit with the statement in Joshua's marriage record that Peter was late of the city of London. A Han? Reeve and Peter Reeve signed the marriage record:
  • Peter Reeve of Great Eastcheap? London Mariner son of Jno Reeve of Scarborough in ye County of Yorke Marriner Deceased and Susanah Wright of Enfield Relict of Joshua Wright late of ye same place shopkeeper...sixth day of ye 12 month called Febury in ye year according to ye English account one thousand seven hundred...

Back in Durham, we find the following baptism:
  • Peter the son of John and Jane Reeve his Age? according to the Record or parrish books in .... was baptized the twenty sixth day of October 1651.

This matches the age of the burial record of Peter Reeve of Enfield, Devonshire House Burials. His widow is listed as well:
  • Peter Reeve of Enfield, Grocer, aged abot 51 years Dyed the 12th day of ye first month called March 1702/3 of a stoppage in the stomach as the doctors report and was buryed in ffriends burying ground under Bunhill Ffields
