Research Notes

Note that the birth register entry originally was written with "Reeves" but had the final "s" crossed out. It also originally listed "John" as father but this is crossed out and Jonah listed as the father. In additional his second marriage record states his father was John Reeve. Some trees online therefore indicate he was the son of John, the brother of Jonah Coe Reeve. However baptism entries seem to indicate that John's first children were from 1814 and afterwards. Since Peter was born in 1810 and we know Jonah Coe Reeve's first child was born in 1809, this seems to be further evidence Peter was Jonah's son.
