In 1871 Polly was 13 and still living at West End Farm with his parents and siblings Joseph (19), Frederick (17), Ellen (15), John (14) and Risa (sic Rose Kate one month). Also resident was Miriam Ward (24) Servant.

GOOCH-REEVE. - 23rd inst., at Warterloo (sic), London, Steward Goodwin Gooch, fifth son of the late Mr. Joseph Gooch, of Westwood House, Cowlinge, to Polly, youngest daughter of the late Mr. Haiden Reeve, West End, Ridgwell.
On the 1881 Census Polly is 23 living with her husband at the Mill House, Hundon, Suffolk.
In 1901 Polly is 43 and living in Little Coggeshal, Essex with her husband and children Rhoda (8), Lord G (sic George 7) and Joseph Tyer (4). Steward Gooch is recorded as an Inn Keeper of own account working at home.
In 1911 Polly is 53 and living at the Portobello Inn, Little Coggeshall, Essex with her husband Steward (Landlord) and children Rhoda Elizabeth (19) and Joseph Tyer (14).
