The marriage allegation dated 2 Nov 1792 states that Sarah was age 25 and lived in Bocking.
The St Ethelburga, Bishopsgate Parish Register contains the following:
- John Thorowgood, Bachelor, of this Parish & Sarah Reeve of the parish of Bocking in the County of Essex, Spinster, were married in this church by Licence of the Bp of London this fifteenth day of November 1792 by me W Gilbank Rector...In presence of us Jonah Reeve John Reeve Joseph Reeve Eliz Reeve Mary Houston Elvia? Reeve
From the Bocking Independent Register:
- Sarah Thorowgood widow of the late Revd John Thorowgood of Bocking aged 64 years was buried in the Protestant Dissenters Burial Ground in Bocking July 5 1828 by me Thomas Craig
The will of John Thorowgood mentions "my children Elizabeth ... Sarah Reeve Thorowgood and John Charles Thorowgood."Jonah Reeve of Bocking Grocer" was appointed as an executor to the will. The will was proved in 1802. He was buried 22 Nov 1801, age 54 (b. c1747) according to non-conformist records.

Jan. 31st, at Totteridge, in her 60th year, after a protracted illness, Sarah Reeve Thorowgood, daughter of the late Rev. John Thorowgood, of Bocking, in this county.
