Notice Is hereby give, that I, Spaulding Reeve, do this day give to my son Thaddeus Spaulding Reeve his time. This is to certify that I will pay no debts of his contracting, neither will I exact any of his earnings whatsoever after this date.

The widow is found later living in Wisconsin and Arkansas with several of her children.

REEVE - At the residence of her daughter, Mrs. M. A. Newell, in this city, Friday, Feb. 18th 1887, Mrs. Phylinda C. Reeve, aged 86 years.
The funeral was held Sunday from the Free Baptist church, Rev. J. P. Hewes officiating, and the remains were taken to Fox Lake for burial.

Research Notes

History of the town of Holland, Massachusetts claims that Spaulding is a grandson of Ezra Reeve Jr. through a son Benjamin.
