On the 1891 Census Walter was 3 years old living with his parents and siblings at 19 Walnut Street, Brentford, Middlesex.

On the 1901 Census Walter was 14 years old and an inmate of The Percy House, Isleworth, Middlesex. With him were his brothers George and Frederick.

On the 1911 Census Walter is 24 years old and lodging with Thomas Woodington at 14 Gordon Street, Southall, Middlesex. Occupation Assistant to Cat Meat Vendor.

Walter married Alice K Mitchell in June 1922 in Brentford, Middlesex.

In 1938 Walter Reeves (sic Reeve) is listed in the UK and City Directories, 1766 - 1946, as living at 11 Priory Road, Chiswick, Middlesex.

His wife Alice died in 1941 and some time after this he emigrated to Canada.
