Wisbech, St Peter Baptisms has a record for William Reeve son of Jeremiah and Jane baptized 26 Mar 1797.

GRO Birth index for John and Albert indicate a mother's maiden name of Mumby. Given Charlotte's birth in Lincolnshire, this fits well with the marriage from Boston, St Botolph, Lincolnshire:
  • William Reeve a Bachelor of this Parish and Charlottle Mumby a spinster of this Parish were married in this Church by Banns this twenty-fourth Day of December in the Year One thousand eight hundred and nineteen.

In 1841, William was a milwright, age 40, living in Hornchurch, Essex with Charlotte (40), Caroline (15), William (15), Charlotte (13), Sarah (13), Charles (10), Thomas (6), Henry (4), John (2), and Albert (6mo). William and his wife Charlotte were said to be born in county. However, the 1851 census indicates otherwise.

In 1851, William was a master engineer, age 54, born in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, living in All Saints Islington, Middlesex. With him was wife Charlotte (51), children Caroline (29), Sarah Ann (22), Francis Charles (25), Charles James (20), Thomas Alfred (15), Henry George (14), John Edwin (12), Albert (10), Eliza (8), Ernest (6), an apprentice William Firth (18) and lodger Jenkins James Smith (18).

In 1861, the widow Charlotte was living in Islington St Mary, age 61, with children Eliza (18) and Ernest (16) along with boarders George Dryden (19), Thomas Foord (44), and James Foord (19).
