The memorandum of the will for William indicates that Mary Markham of Romford in Hornchurch, Essex visited William in Romford on the same day that he died (26 Jul 1686), that he died in Romford, and that she listened to the particulars of his dying wishes. The probate states that his widow was named Margaret. He mentioned that he had brothers Thomas (a poor man) and Jeremiah. Oddly, the statement makes it sound as if they did not know they had a brother. His wife was to have his estate. He doesn't mention any children.
