William Harry spent his working life as an Agricultural Laborer. He lived with his parents at 10 Otten Belchamp Road until he was in his early twenties. On the 1911 Census William Harry is 30 years old and a lodger with the Chatters family at The Water Mill Belchamp Walter. In 1939 in the England and Wales Register he is living at 2 Council Houses, Halstead Road, Halstead, Essex. He is recorded as an invalid.
