Child of Abner Reeves and Damaris Stinchcomb:

1. William A. Reeves, b. 1858

Abner Reeves enlisted on 4 Mar 1862 in the 44th Georgia Infantry of the CSA. He was wounded at Ellison's Mill in Virginia on 17 Jul 1862 and died from his wounds on 26 Jun 1862 at the Richmond, Virginia hospital.

On the 6th of December, 1869, Damaris Reeves gave security and was appointed guardian of William A. Reeves to manage the legacy left to him by his deceased grandfather Frederick Reeves.
