Abraham and Elizabeth were married in Williamson County, Illinois on 2 Apr. 1843. Elizabeth was the daughter of Lewis/Louis Abner Deroque and Sarah "Sally" Tippy. She was born 1825 and died after 1880.

1. Abner Reeves 1845-1862. Abner died at the battle of Jackson, Tenn. in 1862. He served in the Union Army.

Based on the census, Abraham lived in Williamson and Jackson Counties during his lifetime. He died of malaria and typhoid in 1879 after several days illness.
