Narrative

Alphalene Paralee Reeves and George Washington Ingram possessed a Bible for their family information. Over the years I have communicated with a special lady named Elizabeth Green Streeter. The Ingram line is one of her families to research. At some point she was allowed to read the Bible mentioned and copy its information. Besides mentioning their offspring this Bible mentioned other things that were important to our family.

George Washington Ingram was born December 31, 1836 in Georgia and died on March 3, 1890 in Delta, Clay County, Alabama.

The Bible has been printed with the information that T. Reeves died September 13, 1877 which appears to refer to Thompson Reeves' death and fits with his death according to the "Petition To Administer the Estate of Thompson Reeves". It also refers to the fact that "Rilla" Reeves died September 9, 1885. The Petition mentioned above was filed in 1885.

The Alabama Death Certificate of Mrs. A. P. Ingram lists her father as Thompson Reeves and her mother as "Rilla" Ragsdale.
