Annie Joy Matilda REEVES was the second of three children of George Henry REEVES and his wife Annie (nee REEVES). She was born in Battersea, Surrey on 20 January 1913. She was often informally referred to as "Tilly" within the family.At the time of the 1921 census, Annie is with her parents on Clifton Crescent, in Peckham, London SE15. Her father indicates she was then 8 years 6 months old and that her place of birth was Battersea, London. She was attending school full time.
Annie Joy Matilda REEVES married Gilbert Arthur NATION during second quarter of 1935 in the Camberwell Registration District. See Research Note 1 below.
