Narrative

The Paducah Sun newspaper published articles in July and again in August of 1910 reporting that Asilee was seriously ill, but in both instances she was reported to be improving. She was in Kenosha, Wisconsin at the time and both articles state that her father, Robert Reeves, was in Wisconsin and at her bedside.

Although she was said to be improving in 1910, it would appear that she never truly recovered from this illness for the records of the Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah record her burial and her date of death as 25 Oct 1911.
