Benjamin Franklin Reeves served as Constable for District 2 in place of his brother-in-law William Dortch who resigned on 5 March 1860. William Dortch and James M Craycraft served as his securities. In August 1860 he was elected to the office of Constable for the second district in Greenup County (age 19 at the time) and William Dortch continued as his security. Benjamin resigned as Constable on 10 May 1862 (during Civil War).
