Burgess, Mary, and young son William were enumerated in Roanoke, Randolph Co., AL, in 1860. They were living in HH 706, and his parents were in HH 704. His uncle Burgess Reeves was living in HH 685 and his cousin Burgess Reeves, Jr., in HH 686. Other family members were living in the Rockdale area.
