On the 1840 census in Vernon, Washington County, Indiana, he appears as "Burwell Rives." However all later records have Reeves/Reaves and a variation of Burrell.

This couple doesn't appear to have had any children.

Burrell Reeves was among the earliest members of the Mt. Salem Church, Indian Creek Township, Monroe County, Indiana.

Research Notes

The name Burwell Rives was present in some of the wider Rives family from Virginia and suggests a possible connection there. Branches of that family were present in South Carolina where Burrell was born.
