Narrative
Carle William Reeves was born on July 9, 1898, in Montgomery, Alabama. His father, William M Reeves was 23 and his mother, Josephine Crowder, was 22. Carle registered for World War I, where he listed his birthday a year later of 1899. His draft card does not state if he fought in the war or not. He had two children, Doris C Reeves & Margrie Reeves with Blonnie C Reeves.Carle enlisted into the Army in 1942 for World War II. He is listed as a Private - Semiskilled mechanics and repairmen. He trained at Camp Shelby in Mississippi, he served until he was medically discharged in April 3, 1943.
Carle married again later in life to Clara Whitney. Carle had one child Diana J Reeves, with Clara E Whitney on June 12, 1957. He died on April 21, 1970, in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 71, and was buried there.
