Narrative

Charles, the son of John Reeves and his wife Jane (nee Moody) was baptised on 28 February 1808 at the Parish Church of St Mary, South Stoneham in Hampshire.

Charles married Jane DUFFIN on the 31 October 1846 at the Parish Church of St James, West End in Hampshire.

There are currently no known children of this union.

On the 1841 census, Charles is living in the same house as his elder brother Levi Reeves and his wife Charlotte, although he is enumerated as a separate household on his own. He is described as 30 years old and working as an Agricultural Labourer.

By the time of the 1851 census, Charles with his wife Jane are living together in the West End area of the parish of South Stoneham. There are no other persons in the household. Charles givs his age as 41 and claims birth in Bishopstoke, Hampshire. He is working as an Agricultural Labourer.

Charles and Jane have not been positively identified on subsequent census returns.
