Mr. Reeves Dies in Pineville
Charlie Simpson Reeves, 45, died at his home in Pineville last night after an illness of a week.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P. M. tomorrow at the Church of God in Pineville. The Rev. C. R. Sprinkle, the pastor will officiate, and burial will be in the Pineville Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Andrew Turner, Coy Robinson, Joe Harris, Charles Moore, Lee Hopkins and J. L. Bennett.
He was born Dec. 16, 1908, at Enoree, S. C., the son of the late William and Lavinia Reeves. He had lived in Pineville for the last five years, but retained his membership in the Antioch Baptist Church at Woodruff, S. C.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Allie Louise Reeves; and two brothers, J. H. Reeves of Spartanburg, S. C., and L. L. Reeves of Pompano, Fla.
The body will be taken from McEwen Funeral Home to the home in Pineville at 10 A. M. tomorrow.

Although records state he was born in 1908, the census implies 1906.
