In 1830, he ls listed next to Joseph Reeves Sr. and two doors away from Joseph Reeves Jr. He appears to have had a young son and two young daughters in the household in addition to his wife. By 1840, he had two sons and five daughters where he is listed three doors down from James M. Reeves who is next to his probable father Joseph Reeves Sr.. In 1850, he is listed as C. M. Reeves on the census.

Research Notes

It is unclear what the exact spelling of his name was. Probate records spell his name Chiselum yet other records are Chiselam, Chislem, etc. His son, Chislem Morris Reeves' given name is spelled in a myriad of variations as well.
