The 1880 census recorded Cicero Reeves living in Chattanooga, Tennessee and working in a cotton factory but by the 1900 census, he had returned to Georgia where he was working as a carpenter. Cicero is found in there in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census. By the census of 1920, he is a widower living in the home of his son Alonzo.
