3 Lancaster County Men Killed; Another Missing
Sgt. Clayton Reeves, Pvt. Paul Ingram and Pvt. C. F. Faile Are Reported Killed On The German Front — Lieut. (J. G.) Mack Alfred Faulkenberry, U . S. N., Missing.
News of the death of three Lancaster boys on the German front came in telegrams to relatives during the past week. Also came the news that a Lancaster boy in the Navy was missing.
The three who were reported killed were Sgt. Clayton Reeves, who was killed on Nov, 22; Pvt. C. F. Faile, who was killed on Nov. 23 and Pvt. Paul Ingram, who was killed on Nov. 22.
Reported as missing was Lieut. (jg) Mark Alfred Faulkenberry, of the United States Naval Reserves.
Sgt. Reeves was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Reeves, of Heath Springs. He had not been in the service quite a year, having been inducted in December last year. The telegram to his wife did not give any of the details of his death merely stating that he had been killed in action in Germany.

Note that the family has said the newspaper article got it wrong, and that he actually died in France.
