Narrative
Coleman Reeves was taxed in Upson Co., GA, in 1825, 1826, and 1827. He owned 85 acres in LD 10 in 1825 but appears paying poll tax only later.
Coleman Reeves is listed in the 1830 census of Muscogee County, Georgia. Both he and his wife were 20-29 years of age and the household included one male 10-14, 2 females under 5 years old and 1 female 5-9.
In the 1832 Georgia Land Lottery, Coleman Reeves drew from Muscogee County, Georgia. But by 1 Oct 1845, he had apparently moved further west to Alabama where he received a grant of 40.025 acres and another on 1 May 1848 for 39.78 acres from the Montgomery Land Office.
