Gold Star Mother Dies
Silverton, May 23 - Silverton's first Gold Star mother died Wednesday. She was Mrs. Dora Reeves, 78, the mother of Delbert Reeves, first man from Silverton to be killed in World War I. The Delbert Reeves American Legion post of Silverton is named after him.
