Name on headstone reads Darcas Duren. Descendants have listed the actual birth/death days, but no sources provided. Headstone only gives years. Byrum J. Blackmon was appointed guardian of Dorcas Reeves, child of James Reeves decd., on December 27, 1845. John W. Duren settled agreement on the return and settlement of the account January 17, 1851 with A. B. Blackmon under James H. Witherspoon.

The Durens lived in Florida, but they brought the body back up to Fork Hill for burial.
