Research Notes

Earl attended school at Gordon and El Dorado Springs. In May, 1943 upon graduation from high school, he enlisted in the Navy. In the spring of 1946 he became ill and in June of that year was medically discharged after three years of service. Soon after Earl and Mildred married they bought a farm in the Gordan district outside of El Dorado Springs, Missouri. Earl suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at his. He was rushed to a veteran hospital at Topeka, but died upon arrival. Earl is buried at the Mound- Mann Cemetery.
