According to Arkansas Land Records, we find Reeves, Edmon B., Searcy County, Section 33, Twp. 16n. Rng 162, 157.4 Acres, date - 1907-04-10 (remark - 2nd MIS).; Also,;Reeves, Edmon B., Searcy County, Section 4, Twp. 15N, Rng 162, 0 Acres, 1907/04/10 (remark - 2nd MIS).

There is one source that indicates Edmon's first wife was Elizabeth Unknown. He was 31 years old when he married Rispa so it is possible this marriage took place but no children are noted by this marriage. We find 10 children by his marriage to Rispa Arter Treat ( Pearl, Thomas Paris, Charles Albert, Cynthia Jane, Emma Anne, Oklahoma, Amanda Mae, Garland Reed, Mitchel and Jessie Arville)
