In 1856, Edmond L. Reeves was appointed a guardian for Susan Elizabeth Reeves, a minor heir of Eli Reeves, deceased. She personally chose him on 12 Feb 1857 to be her guardian, at age 14. It appears likely therefore that Edmond was a son of Eli.Deeds show that this Edmond married Amanda. A W. B. Reeves witnessed several deeds from Edmond Reeves. He is listed as E. Reaves on the 1850 census.
