Elizabeth was married to Richard Flint by the time that her father wrote his will. The name Richard Flint appears frequently in the records of Northumberland and Richmond Counties. Flint researchers believe that Elizabeth's husband was Richard Flint (c. 1680 - c. 1752) who married Elizabeth Reeves, possibly as his second wife. This Richard Flint died testate in Richmond County in 1752. If their identification is correct, Elizabeth Reeves Flint had predeceased Richard, about 1742, and he had remarried to Mary Muse, who had married first Robert Sanford, second John Remy, and third Richard Flint.
